Phi Phi hosts some great tattoo shops. With over 20 tattoo studios available throughout Tonsai Village, you have plenty of choice if you want to bring back home a permanent memory of your holiday in Phi Phi. As tattooing is something that can’t be easily undone, it’s best that you take your time deciding on the design, shop around for prices and judge the cleanliness of the studios.
Most of the tattoo shops in Phi Phi use both bamboo and electric machine to make tattoos. The former is less painful, slightly more expensive, and heals faster. It’s also more traditional. The latter tattoo technic can be found all around the world. It’s faster yet, as the cut is deeper, it takes almost a week before to get healed. You should get inked toward the end of your stay if you’d like to be tattooed with an electric machine in Phi Phi. You’ll find below 5 great tattoo shops in Phi Phi, all of them known for the quality of their work, and for their high hygiene standards.
